About The Role
You’ll be a key member of the Yello Infrastructure Team. As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for supporting and scaling Yello's SaaS products. You will enable Software Engineering to rapidly build, deploy, and test through CI/CD automation. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and improving applications built on AWS and Kubernetes.
How You'll Make An Impact
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Automate AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and custom scripts.
- Orchestrate and execute operational tasks using Ansible playbooks and custom scripts.
- Build, maintain, and run cloud infrastructure on AWS and other IaaS providers.
- Build and maintain Jenkins and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Set standards and best practices for containerized applications and deployments.
- Automate the deployment of containerized applications on Kubernetes using GitLab CI and Helm.
- Develop Ansible playbooks to build and configure EC2 instances and AMI images.
- Participate in the Infrastructure team on call rotation
What We're Looking For
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of professional Linux systems administration or DevOps experience
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud providers
- Experience managing and maintaining CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Strong scripting skills with Ruby or Python
- Experience with systems configuration management. Terraform and Ansible preferred
- Intimate knowledge of the Linux command line including shell scripting
- Strong standardization, policy and process drive
